V landing encounter — April 1982

The imported location for this April 1982 Danish report has been truncated to “V(near).” A fuller catalogue version places it near Broby, with an approximate mid-April date and a time around 4:30 a.m. An unnamed person on an early walk reportedly saw a large, shiny silver oval object resting in a nearby field. Two short figures stood beside it. The fuller description is unusually specific: both were very thin, with long arms, elongated bald egg-shaped heads, prominent pointed ears, small round eyes and almost inconspicuous noses and mouths. They wore close-fitting silver clothing and belts with dark buckles, and held flashlight-like instruments. After roughly fifteen minutes, the figures allegedly entered the object through an opening the witness could not discern. The craft then rose and departed rapidly in the direction of Odense. The cited chain leads through Rosales to SUFOI Newsletter 9; the original newsletter was not reviewed here. A better-known Broby narrative describes a fifteen-year-old cyclist, five broader-bodied figures and a July 1982 date. Those differences are substantial, so its witness biography and sequence should not be inserted into this two-figure April account without resolving the source relationship. The Atlas retains the month-level date and notes the locality uncertainty. The plate uses the detailed later description while identifying unspecified likenesses and construction as artistic interpretation.
