Case description
An unnamed farm couple near Des Moines reportedly experienced an encounter during October 1982. The husband had noticed a manoeuvring light over the farm before going to sleep. Around three in the morning, nervous cattle allegedly awakened him. Looking outside, he saw a green-glowing disc over the barnyard and small, dark figures below it. Three short figures then appeared at the bedroom entrance.
The couple described an initial alarm followed by calm. They said the figures led them toward the object by an orchard, where steps descended without noise. Their subsequent recollections included a dim interior and separate examinations: the wife described an ivory-coloured surface and a shorter, female-presenting occupant with relatively larger eyes, a pointed nose and fuller lips; the husband remembered a small compartment and a green drink. The fuller narrative contains invasive reproductive allegations, rather than simply the outdoor sighting preserved in the short catalogue.
Both reportedly next remembered waking in their bedroom. The accessible compilation attributes this story to Brad Steiger’s The UFO Abductors. It does not identify the couple, provide a precise night, establish how the memories were obtained or supply independent physical documentation. Those omissions prevent treating the entire remembered sequence as a verified removal. The exterior illustration keeps the beings’ poorly described faces in shadow and does not depict the alleged procedures.
