Careme, Tarn-Garonne disc-shaped object report — March 26, 1983

On the evening of March 26, 1983, two people driving at a location catalogued as Carême in Tarn-et-Garonne, France, reportedly encountered sudden fog and a very large disc-shaped object. The short account preserved by NICAP does not identify the motorists, their precise route, the vehicle or an exact observation time. Their car reportedly turned onto an unfamiliar dirt road in a way they could not explain. The episode was described as lasting about 50 minutes and possibly involving missing time. This wording does not establish that all fifty minutes were unremembered, that an external force steered the car, or that either witness entered the object. The surviving sequence records their puzzling experience without demonstrating its cause. NICAP attributes the report to Lumières dans la Nuit, issue 317; later online catalogues repeat substantially the same abstract. A fuller original account was not retrieved during this research. Despite its inclusion in an entity category and a vehicle-interference category, the located narrative supplies no occupant description or specific tested electrical failure. No humanoid is therefore added to the reconstruction. The plate shows representative motorists, fog and a partially obscured disc together, while treating their appearance, car model, road layout and finer object details as contextual approximations.
