Case description
A married couple holidaying at Calalzo di Cadore reported an unusual observation near woodland around 11 p.m. on August 15,1986. They described a descending light becoming a glowing blue disc with a dome. After watching it land, they said their awareness stopped until approximately 1 a.m.
The object was then gone. A dark circle of bent and blackened grass, estimated at nine metres across, was reportedly visible. Over the following nights they experienced troubling dreams and difficulty sleeping, and memories of two humanlike figures began to surface.
On August 23–24, a physician in Pordenone hypnotized them. During those sessions they described being directed aboard without physical contact. Their account included a brightly colored interior and an examination whose details remained vague. The beings were described as tall, wearing coveralls, with elongated oval heads, luminous eyes, pointed ears and narrow mouths.
Antonio Chiumiento presented the case in International UFO Reporter in 1989. The observation, claimed missing time, later memories and hypnotic narrative are distinct stages of the account. Hypnosis does not independently confirm the boarding story. The plate labels its combination of the initial craft sighting and later entity descriptions as a composite.
