Case description
John Brent Musgrave published this Nipawin, Saskatchewan, account in 1977, placing the event in the summer of 1933. After local reports of lights over a marshy area northwest of town, two men and a woman reportedly drove out in a pickup truck around midnight, then continued on foot until muskeg prevented a closer approach.
Across the bog, they described a large oval, domed object supported on legs and surrounded by an orange glow. About a dozen figures, somewhat shorter than ordinary adults and wearing silver outfits with head coverings, moved up and down a central ladder. The observers interpreted their activity as repairs, although no conversation or technical explanation was reported. After about half an hour, they returned to their truck and abandoned an attempt to approach from another direction because they lacked fuel.
A later visit allegedly revealed six support impressions and a scorched central patch. Musgrave said photographs had been taken but did not have them; their existence is not equivalent to surviving photographic evidence. Some catalogues shift the year to 1935 or the time to 7 a.m. The plate follows the fuller summer1933 night narrative, with all three witnesses, silver-clad figures and six-legged craft together.
