Case description
Elvira Noguerol was said to have been working in a field near Garganta la Olla, Cáceres, in October 1934 when she noticed a very small figure beside a rocky outcrop. The historical catalogue presents the witness as an elderly rural woman and places the encounter in daylight. Its precise October 1 date is more specific than the month-only dating in later local accounts.
The figure reportedly wore unusually brilliant clothing. Noguerol experienced a voice or message in her mind announcing that her grandson had been born. When she approached, the figure moved away and disappeared. On returning home, she reportedly learned that the birth had indeed occurred. Later regional folklore supplies a childlike, attractive face, a reddish upper garment, and details about the expectant daughter-in-law; these belong to the expanded retelling rather than independently documented observations made in 1934.
The source trail includes Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos’s catalogue of Spanish and Portuguese encounters and subsequent humanoid compilations. No vehicle is described in the compact original account. A luminous sphere appears in later storytelling, but should not automatically be converted into a spacecraft. This is a retrospective apparition and announcement narrative, with no located contemporary record establishing the message’s timing independently of the family story.
