Case description
A later catalogue adds May to this otherwise year-only St James, Missouri, record, assigning the observation to 1945 at about 10:30 a.m. An unnamed witness reportedly heard a loud humming sound and looked up toward a garage. Above it hovered a metallic, domed disc, estimated at ten metres across and about fifty feet from the observer.
Through the clear dome, the witness believed a humanlike occupant was looking outward. The object reportedly remained in view for more than three minutes before departing along the contours of the surrounding terrain. The accessible sequence contains no landing, exit by the occupant, spoken exchange or approach to the witness. The dome view is the entire reported basis for an entity classification.
Albert Rosales attributes the brief account to Richard Hall’s From Airships to Arnold, a retrospective catalogue of early twentieth-century reports. The underlying witness statement and a contemporary 1945 publication were not recovered here. The added month is consequently retained as a later catalogue detail, rather than an independently established exact date. Observer identity, occupant anatomy, clothing, windows beyond the dome, propulsion and garage setting remain undescribed. A reconstruction can show the observer and enclosed figure without inventing a particular alien species or an outside encounter.
