Case description
Joseph Matiszewski, a mechanic, claimed an encounter near Sønderborg, Denmark, on June 19, 1951, around midday. He reportedly heard a whistling sound and approached an object in a meadow. Within roughly fifty metres, he felt unable to move and interpreted the stillness of nearby cows and birds as a similar effect.
Four brown-skinned, humanlike men allegedly emerged in shiny black suits with transparent helmets. Other crew appeared to work on the vehicle, while eight smaller objects hovered above it. The craft and smaller objects eventually departed, after which he said his movement returned. Later contactee material adds a separate 1954 meeting and a claimed origin on a planet called Zutorn; that is part of the story’s later development, not independent verification.
The source trail reaches a German UFO bulletin around 1959, years after the alleged sighting, and subsequent catalogues. The reporting delay and contactee additions make its status disputed. The plate labels this context and includes the mechanic, four principal visitors, craft and small objects; its engineering details and unresolved interior crew are artistic.
