At approximately 1820 hours on 7 October 1951, four unidentified aerial objects were observed by several officers and airmen stationed at Kadena Air Force Base, Okinawa, Ryukyu Islands. The objects were first sighted by the Airborne Control and Warning Squadron on radar, and visual contact was then established by personnel on the ground.
