Slovozia, Romania being encounter — 1953

Gabriela Dima was six when she reportedly watched an unusual object above a field at Slobozia during summer 1953. A Romanian compilation gives approximately 10 a.m. in bright sunshine. The Atlas preserves the locality under Dâmbovița, while the fuller Romanian source tentatively suggests Ialomița. The place-name is therefore more secure than the exact administrative location or mapped field. The object was said to remain motionless above the crops. In its middle was a small green window, behind which the child could see a square or angular face with strange eyes. After a time the window disappeared from view and the object flew away without a sound. No approach by the occupant, conversation, exit, chase or boarding was described. The surviving account does not provide the body's shape, the person's clothing or a detailed external design for the object. This is a brief childhood recollection preserved in later compilations, rather than a recovered contemporary statement accompanied by measurements or photographs. The ledger's ground-trace and vegetation tags do not establish an examined landing site in this account. The plate therefore uses a vague glare-obscured outline, the distinctive green window and an unresolved angular face, with the child safely at a distance. Its landscape, clothing and object outline are contextual reconstruction.
