Case description
A short report dated May 11, 1954, places a solitary witness near a hovering disc at Lawton, Oklahoma. The NICAP chronology describes the event as occurring in daylight, although the Atlas provides no clock time. The object was reportedly about ten feet above the ground, with a small figure standing underneath it.
The figure was estimated at approximately four feet tall. According to the summary, it noticed the observer and disappeared in a flash of light. The disc then departed rapidly toward the west. The accessible version does not identify the witness or explain whether the figure was seen to enter the object; disappearance in light and boarding are different claims and should not be treated as interchangeable.
The published chain runs from Kevin D. Randle’s The October Scenario through Albert Rosales’s humanoid catalogue and later NICAP summaries. It does not supply a detailed face, clothing, measured object size or independently authenticated trace material. The plate therefore shows the moment before the flash: one representative witness, a low disc and a short indistinct figure beneath it. Its restrained rendering avoids assigning a specific alien anatomy that the surviving account does not describe.
