Tregon, FR being encounter — October 2, 1954

Residents of Trégon, Brittany, reported a luminous object during the French 1954 sighting wave. The imported date is October 2; some later catalogues use October 4. A contemporary press passage reproduced in the source dossier describes a Saturday-evening observation at about 9:30 p.m., which is consistent with October 2 rather than the later Monday date. Several people reportedly watched a yellow-red object resembling an old airship remain stationary in the northwestern sky. Its estimated length was three to four metres. After several minutes it rose silently and disappeared rapidly northwards. Later versions add that observers approached by car, then link the event to a separate report at Mégrit. That connection should not transfer Mégrit’s alleged interior figures into the Trégon sighting. The preserved Trégon narrative contains no described occupant, despite an inherited entity-related catalogue code. No retrieved photograph, physical trace or instrument record establishes the object’s nature. The illustration therefore shows representative residents and a distant luminous cigar-shaped form, without inventing beings. Exact likenesses, landscape geometry and the object’s construction remain illustrative.
