Case description

The Col Cerasa di Cingoli report concerns two twelve-year-old boys in the Macerata area during the Italian sightings of 1954. Later catalogues name them Giampieri and Santucci. In one account, their dog became agitated beside a field, prompting one boy to investigate. He allegedly saw three extremely small figures near a keg-like object and called his companion to look. The figures then entered the object. HUMCAT’s earlier entry describes beings only about fourteen inches tall, with very large heads and lead-gray skin. Its correction sheet adds metallic coveralls and a barrel-shaped craft approximately five feet long and two feet across. Two pointed propellers reportedly began turning before the object departed with a hissing sound. The amended account also mentions an airborne fireball and a blast; later retellings describe a gust knocking a boy down and a separate observer seeing something overhead. The source history contains significant corrections. An initial version gives November 25 and calls the place Calcerosa; HUMCAT’s annotation changes these to October 25 and Col Cerasa di Cingoli, and corrects the first boy’s name. These variants should remain visible rather than merged into a perfectly consistent account. The plate follows the corrected date and the unusually small, large-headed figures, with facial details left unresolved.

UFO ENTITIES: Ten True Extraterrestrial Encounters

Watch video · Preston Dennett

The film follows the corrected October 25, Col Cerasa/Appignano version. Earlier summaries give November 25, Calcerosa, different witness names and a spherical craft. The HUMCAT correction instead gives Giampieri, metallic coveralls and a keg-shaped object. A separate witness reportedly saw the departure, not the close figures. These retellings do not erase the source corrections or establish detailed anatomy.
