An anonymous account signed Raymond R. described an encounter south of La Roche-en-Brenil, Côte-d'Or, France, on November 5, 1954. The writer said that he and a thirteen-year-old assistant noticed a grey object near woodland while working outdoors at about 10:09 a.m. He claimed to have fetched a camera and taken several photographs. The story describes a domed disc, suited figures carrying equipment, a luminous discharge, and the boy becoming frightened. It also includes alleged traces and a later return of objects near the same location. These details originated in the narrative, not in an independently recovered photographic or material collection. Successive investigators were unable to locate the supposed witnesses, and later catalogues regard the account as doubtful or probably invented. The claimed photographs therefore should not be treated as authenticated evidence.
