Official source account — 2021 annual report, printed page 44: Cintia Díaz filmed a twinkling light low in the sky during an approximately forty-five-minute observation. CIAE reconstructed Arcturus between about ten and twenty degrees above the horizon. The star's changing apparent position agreed with the reported movement, while its low elevation accounted for irregular colour flashes. The agency identified Arcturus and classified the astronomical explanation Type A. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
