CEFAE interpreted its paired trails as an aircraft contrail and checked flight-tracking records. It identified a matching Aerolíneas Argentinas flight, ARG 1410 from Buenos Aires to Mendoza, recorded at 21,000 feet. The agency concluded that the video was compatible with that Boeing 737 and its condensation trails. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations.
