Official source account — 2018 annual report, printed page 36: Daniela García discovered two apparent objects while reviewing a photograph taken at Pilar on 14 November 2018. CEFAE processed the blurred shapes and recovered outlines it considered compatible with two birds flying in the same direction. The lower image showed several anatomical features associated with a bird during the downward part of a wingbeat. The photographer had not noticed the objects before taking the picture. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
