Official source account — 2023 annual report, printed page 9: José Paizal noticed a close group of six bright points when reviewing a photograph taken at Paraná. The objects were therefore features discovered in the image, rather than a separately documented observation of six airborne objects. CIAE examined their relationship to bright lights elsewhere in the frame and tested the optical geometry. Its report concluded that the apparent objects were internal reflections in the camera lens. The case remains useful as a documented photographic report with an identified optical explanation. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
