Official source account — 2020 annual report, printed page 103: A light was noticed after a witness photographed the solar eclipse at Cruz del Eje. CIAE found that the suspect feature lay opposite the bright eclipsed Sun across the frame's optical centre. Its crescent shape also reproduced the visible portion of the Sun. A Stellarium eclipse reconstruction supported the match. The agency classified the feature as an internal lens reflection, Type A. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
