Leonardo Kosaka (2) — City of Buenos Aires

Official source account — 2020 annual report, printed page 80: Leonardo Kosaka saw and photographed an unusual luminous shape in Buenos Aires. CIAE compared the image with Stellarium and checked the camera's viewing direction using Google Earth. The object's position and outline agreed with the Moon's phase and location that night. The agency concluded that the photograph showed the Moon through a thin cloud layer and classified the case Type A. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
