Official source account — 2020 annual report, printed page 138: While filming lightning during a night storm at San Martín de los Andes, a witness unknowingly recorded a moving light later noticed in review. CIAE compared it with a bright streetlamp visible in the scene. In several frames, the lamp and suspect light maintained the expected optical-centre relationship. The agency identified an internal lens reflection and classified the case Type A. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations.
