Official source account — 2020 annual report, printed page 168: Víctor Garayalde filmed a large light appearing behind a cloud and moving across the Catriel sky. CIAE compared his reported direction and time with orbital analysis of a Long March 8 launch from Wenchang. The recording followed the Sierra Colorada observation by about one minute and fitted the same trajectory. The agency identified the launch-related phenomenon and classified the case Type A. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
