Official source account — 2020 annual report, printed page 40: Kevin Martinez and his brother reported twenty-two star-like lights aligned near Orion's Belt at about 21:20. They described the lights disappearing and provided no imagery. CIAE compared the precise location, time and behaviour with a satellite simulation. It found a corresponding Starlink train and classified the case Type A, treating the detailed testimony as sufficient for this conventional identification. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes.
