Official source account — 2022 annual report, printed page 8: An automatically recording surveillance camera at Villa Ballester captured a formation of moving objects. CIAE examined their staggered alignment, parallel steady tracks, maintained spacing and unsynchronised brightness changes, which suggested wingbeats. These features supported birds flying together rather than extraordinary manoeuvring objects. The agency classified the conventional explanation Type B, preserving that the fleeting recording could not be reproduced.
The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
