Official source account — 2020 annual report, printed page 116: Luciano Morone filmed an intermittently flashing object for twenty-three seconds over Río Cuarto. CIAE compared its course and timing with historical aircraft information. The flashes matched the navigation strobes of a Sky Airline Airbus A319 travelling toward Santiago de Chile, passing south of the city at about 23:35 local time. The agency classified the aircraft identification Type A. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
