Official source account — 2015 annual report, printed page 6: Sergio Canteros photographed a small circular object while going to the beach with his children at Ituzaingó, Corrientes, on 2 January 2015. He said it appeared and disappeared suddenly and stated that they had no ball. CEFAE proposed a small ball thrown near the camera. Its analysis cited slight vertical motion and compatibility with the upper part of a ballistic trajectory, while retaining the witness's differing account of its appearance.
