El Chocón 01 video

Official source account — 2017 annual report, printed page 7: The El Chocón 01 account concerns an apparent object in video recorded in Neuquén Province on 1 January 2017. CEFAE examined successive frames and enlarged the shape. It identified body and wing features compatible with a flying insect crossing downward while turning left. The report explains that the wings were faint because of transparency and rapid beating, but does not identify an exact species. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
