Ensenada video

Official source account — 2016 annual report, printed page 11: An apparent bright object was found while editing video filmed at Ensenada on 20 September 2014. The person visible in the foreground had not seen a corresponding light in the landscape. CEFAE considered the narrow field of the 1000-millimeter lens and the Sun's reconstructed position, concluding that the mark was compatible with internal lens flare from a light source outside the frame. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
