Its enlarged image showed an oval central body with projections resembling transparent wings. CIAE considered a flying insect crossing close to the camera the best explanation. It noted that the fleeting scene could not be reproduced, but the apparent anatomy and the absence of a contemporaneous sighting supported its Type B assessment.
