Juan Barbanera — Moreno; Province of Buenos Aires

Official source account — 2022 annual report, printed page 108: Juan Barbanera discovered a luminous circular feature while reviewing a photograph taken at Moreno, Buenos Aires Province, during the partial solar eclipse of 26 February 2017. CIAE found the feature and the eclipsed Sun equidistant from the image centre. The reflection also reproduced the eclipse's curved shadow in reverse orientation. A Stellarium reconstruction confirmed that correspondence. The report classified the object near the water tank and below the clouds as an internal lens reflection of the eclipsed Sun, with Type A status.
