Capilla del Monte — Province of Córdoba

Official source account — 2020 annual report, printed page 149: A photographer at Capilla del Monte discovered an unfamiliar form on reviewing an image at home. CIAE found a spindle-shaped body and two transparent wing-like surfaces, supporting an insect passing close to the lens. Its proximity and motion explained the combined blur. The apparent wing orientation suggested left-to-right travel. The agency retained a Type B supported explanation rather than a reproducible identification. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
