Flavio Solferino storm photograph

Official source account — 2018 annual report, printed page 18: Flavio Solferino discovered a vertical cylindrical mark while reviewing a photograph taken from a tenth-floor apartment in Villa Pueyrredón, Buenos Aires, on 6 April 2018. CEFAE analyzed the blurred shape and concluded that it was a tiny raindrop caught as it struck the camera lens. The witness's account that a storm was approaching and that the window was open supported the agency's interpretation. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes.
