Gustavo von Düring aircraft photograph

Official source account — 2016 annual report, printed page 53: Gustavo von Düring found an apparent flying object in a landscape photograph from Villa del Dique on 5 March 2015, near the Embalse nuclear installation. CEFAE consulted flight-plan records and learned that a Jabirú J-430 experimental aircraft, registration LV-X471, had departed for Embalse and planned to overfly the area before landing. The agency concluded that the photographed object was compatible with that documented aircraft movement. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations.
