Juan Cruz Dias — Villa Bosch, Province of Buenos Aires

Official source account — 2021 annual report, printed page 49: Juan Cruz Dias saw and photographed a diamond-shaped object that continued moving until it disappeared from view. CIAE examined the image with IPACO's vertical-thread tool and detected a string hanging underneath. The shape and string supported a helium balloon that had escaped with part of its tether attached. The agency classified the identification Type A. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
