Official source account — 2019 annual report, printed page 38: Esteban Tuñon said he aimed his camera at a star-like object that disappeared quickly at Ministro Rivadavia on 7 September 2019. The resulting photograph contained another marked anomaly. CIAE found that this photographed mark was optically symmetrical with a small bright instrument-panel light. It assigned a Type A lens-flare explanation to the image, while preserving the distinction between the witness's initial target and the feature actually analyzed. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
