Buchardo — Province of Córdoba

Official source account — 2020 annual report, printed page 48: A Buchardo photograph appeared to show lights beneath clouds. They were discovered during later review. CIAE compared them with a bright streetlight present in the scene and found the expected optical-centre alignment and equal distances of internal lens reflections. The agency concluded that the suspect lights were photographic reflections generated by the streetlight, assigning a Type A explanation. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
