General Rodríguez air-show photograph

Official source account — 2016 annual report, printed page 66: A burst photograph taken at an air show in General Rodríguez on 9 October 2016 showed an apparent object near an aerobatic aircraft. CEFAE conducted field inquiries and obtained an IPACO image analysis. The report concluded that two round helium balloons tied together were a strong conventional explanation. Investigators documented balloon sales and escapes at the event; the IPACO assessment classified the photograph as probably explained, rather than establishing an unconventional vehicle. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
