Marcos Basavilbaso Uritorco videos — Capilla del Monte, Córdoba Province, 10 January 2015

Official source account — 2023 annual report, printed page 87: Marcos Basavilbaso recorded electrical activity beyond Cerro Uritorco from Capilla del Monte. CIAE identified lightning within a storm cell behind the ridge and also examined a strong yellow-white light that entered the frame when the camera moved downward. The witness's remarks coincided with the appearance of that light. Comparison with a daytime view placed it at a streetlamp near a foreground structure. The report concluded that lightning and this ground-based lamp accounted for the recorded luminous features, with the lamp explaining the additional stimulus singled out by the witness. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
