Tandil bird photograph

Official source account — 2016 annual report, printed page 10: A witness at Tandil saw an object flying and photographed it on 16 March 2016. On enlargement, CEFAE identified a bird of prey, citing pointed wings and pale features around the base of the bill. It considered the appearance compatible with a Swainson's hawk. This is the agency's biological identification of the photographed subject; the published entry does not establish an unconventional flight or vehicle. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes.
