Pueblo Libertador — Province of Corrientes

Official source account — 2021 annual report, printed page 65: A drone operator noticed a white airborne form only when reviewing landscape video from Pueblo Libertador. CIAE compared its shape and colour with butterflies. It proposed a lepidopteran, probably Morpho epistrophus argentinus, whose wings are strongly white. The agency classified the explanation Type B and kept the species-level suggestion tentative rather than presenting it as an independently confirmed identification. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
