Villa Pehuenia — Province of Neuquén

Official source account — 2021 annual report, printed page 38: A Villa Pehuenia photographer noticed two airborne objects only after processing an image. CIAE found visible woody structures in the shapes. During a telephone interview, the witness explained that a child sat on her lap on sandy ground scattered with dry branches. The agency proposed small twigs probably tossed by the child at exposure and classified the explanation Type A. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
