Los Nogales — Province of Tucumán

Official source account — 2020 annual report, printed page 110: A witness at Los Nogales watched a bright western object for about twenty minutes, describing red and blue flashes before it disappeared. CIAE's sky reconstruction placed Sirius at the same low elevation and direction. The photograph showed no second comparable light. The agency attributed the colour changes to atmospheric scintillation and the disappearance to the star setting behind hills, assigning Type A. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes.
