Ariel Muñoz photograph

Official source account — 2018 annual report, printed page 40: Ariel Muñoz discovered an apparent object in a photograph taken at Media Agua, San Juan, on 25 February 2018. CEFAE examined its opaque segmented body and projecting surfaces and interpreted it as a flying insect crossing rapidly from right to left. The report does not identify a species. Its conclusion is based on the enlarged photograph, rather than a separately described prolonged observation. The summaries distinguish reported observations from the agency’s proposed explanations. Source Type A/B ratings describe explanatory confidence and are not encounter classes. The map uses an approximate GeoNames locality centroid, not the observation point.
