Brazilian archive report — Goiânia, GO — 1989-10-12

Celso Machado, a twenty-five-year-old outside salesman, reported an object landing in the garden of his Goiânia residence about three metres away. The questionnaire describes approach from the north, slow straight movement and a noise compared to rattling cans. The object's shape field says rectangular, its colour brown and its size “5×3,” without specifying units. Another field calls it a disc and mentions two beings, whose appearance is not described. The witness said he was alone and watched for about an hour. He attributed damaged flowers, stained vegetation and two stones to the episode. One field calls the stones radioactive, while another refers to rustlike plant marks and white stains. The two-page form contains no laboratory measurements, sample analysis or independently established chain of custody demonstrating radiation or connecting the material to the reported object. The dates are internally contradictory. A receipt field reads 30 October 1989, yet the event answer lists both 12 October 1989 and 29 October 1990. That future date relative to receipt cannot be silently accepted as a second confirmed event or corrected without evidence. The reconstruction therefore labels the date conflict and the unrecorded appearance of the beings. It preserves the brown rectangular description with minimal structure, treats the stones as ordinary-looking claimed traces and avoids inventing radiation effects, facial anatomy or an established extraterrestrial explanation.
