Open this case in the interactive AtlasCase description
An Air Force report dates a ten-minute sighting to 12 November 2024 at 23:38Z, on radial 145 from SBTE (Teresina), 160 nautical miles away. The duty operator relayed reports from two aircraft of three aircraft-like objects with bright lights. The lights appeared to approach and recede at approximately the same altitude as the reporting traffic. Flight levels FL280 and FL260 are entered in the altitude field. The trajectory and azimuth fields indicate southwest; these entries do not supply a measured track.
The observer section gives the route SNGL–SBPL beside two redacted entries. The number of people is redacted and cannot be inferred from the number of reporting aircraft. The sky is described as open or clear. Size, distance from the observers, speed, sound, physical records and other characteristics are mostly marked NIL. Communication to CINDACTA III is recorded at the same 23:38Z time. The two-page file provides no radar confirmation, identification, entity encounter or subsequent investigation.
Source review: Both original PDF pages visually reviewed. Distinguish three reported objects from two reporting aircraft and an unknown individual witness count. Flight levels are reported context, not independent altitude measurements. Teresina is the navigation reference; a municipality, state or map coordinate for the sighting is not inferred from the radial. NIL fields remain unspecified.
