On 31 July 2025 at 06:20 Z, a pilot flying the SBEG–SBFZ route at flight level 370 called the sector’s air-traffic controller about three lights near and somewhat above the aircraft. The objects were close to each other and appeared stationary, emitting white and red light. Their shapes and sizes could not be identified. A position of 03°26′44″S, 039°47′24″W was recorded. The pilot asked whether the controller could see them on radar; the account explicitly says nothing appeared on the radar display. No observation equipment or physical recording is reported. Duration, distance, weather and observer count are not supplied. CINDACTA III, ACC-RE, logged the communication at 06:20 Z. The filing preserves the visual report and the absence of a radar counterpart, rather than documenting a combined radar-and-visual detection.
Source review: Two pages visually reviewed. Source coordinates represent the reported sighting/navigation position, not a surveyed object location. Radar non-detection is explicit; NIL fields remain unknown.
