Aviation encounter — Turin Airport — 1973-11-30

A piper Navajo pilot and 2 Alitalia DC-9 pilots and ground observers reported an aerial observation at or near Turin Airport on 30 November 1973. A luminous blue-red sphere reportedly moved erratically, darting back and forth. Ground radar observations were also recorded. The catalogue marks more than one aircraft as involved.
