Case description
A Caracas doctor travelling by car with his father reportedly stopped near Floresta after seeing two small figures run into roadside bushes. The fuller catalogue and NICAP chronology place the event at about 18:30 on 10 December 1954. The Atlas gives 8 December, so the exact day remains inconsistent between the transmitted versions.
Shortly after the figures disappeared into the vegetation, a luminous disc reportedly rose from behind the same bushes. It accelerated away at high speed with a sharp sizzling sound. The sequence supplies the reported association between beings and object, but it does not describe the doctor watching them board it. Nor does it provide a sustained close view, conversation or sufficiently detailed description of the figures’ faces, clothes or body proportions beyond their small stature.
The account is reproduced in Vallée’s Magonia catalogue and HUMCAT, with Coral Lorenzen’s earlier book cited in the source chain. It should remain distinct from the more dramatic Venezuelan hunter encounters reported around the same period; details from those cases cannot fill its gaps. The reconstruction uses December 1954 rather than selecting one disputed day, and labels its combination of the running figures and rising disc as successive phases. The available summaries do not establish an extraordinary origin.
