Case description

On March 23, 1974, during the Vallentuna wave of reports in Sweden, a man identified in later accounts as Gösta Häger described a close encounter while travelling in the Markim–Lindholmen area. Häger’s account involved an interruption of his journey and a reported taking experience. Later descriptions connect the event with a route toward Lindholmen and an encounter with several unusual figures. The historical digest focuses on his return, when wounds were reportedly visible. Another distinctive claim was that he could affect the movement of a compass needle following the experience. The digest records this as part of the aftermath, without supplying a measurement protocol or a detailed account of when it first happened. The event was discussed within a wider concentration of sightings around Vallentuna. The current case programme provides a fuller retelling alongside the preserved catalogue outline.
