Sitio Dentro, Ceara, Brazil being encounter — August 26, 1979

Bob Pratt's account places the incident at Sítio Dentro in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, around midnight on August 26–27, 1979. Bar owner Francisco Oliveira, aged forty-one, was closing after playing pool with a customer named Waldemar. Waldemar was inflating a bicycle tire and asked Francisco to remain with him because of reports of unusual objects nearby. The imported Ceará location conflicts with Pratt's account. A brilliant light reportedly illuminated the surroundings. Looking up, the two men saw a huge object and a broad front window that Francisco compared to a television screen. Two identical, doll-like figures were visible from the waist up. The account supplies no reliable detailed facial anatomy or complete hull description. Both men fled around the bar and crouched near a wall. Francisco reported a loud noise as the object passed over the building. They then went indoors and remained there until morning. His mother reportedly saw the light and heard the noise, but she was not described as seeing the figures. The next morning Francisco said roughly half the tiled roof had collapsed, with a main beam and rafters broken. He also recalled several days of numbness, fatigue and poor appetite. These are reported aftereffects rather than recovered medical findings, and Pratt's interview does not independently establish what caused the structural damage.
